Day 3 (Jan 14th) - Scuba the GBR

Woke early again today (7am) to the same breaky as yesterday. While eating I could see large fish swimming in the water near our boat.

I went on my second scuba diving adventure (this time on the Great Barrier Reef) along with 3 others. Today Anisley only put 2 weights around my waist since I sank so fast on yesterday's dive with 3. There was so much to see down below. Saw bright corals (in the sunlight), 2 manta rays (they swim super fast!), large clams (I kicked water towards them and they shut their shells fast) and we all touched a sea cucumber Anisley picked up for us to see. Really great experience. I want to get my diving certification now so that I can go alot deeper (than 12m) to see the little nemo's :). I think I'm going to bring my family back here (GBR) at some point, they'll love the snorkelling! (and maybe diving :))

This afternoon was really relaxing after the dive. We sailed all the way back to Airlie Beach (6 hours - the reef was really far out). Before we knew it we had to pack our bags and get ready to leave the boat. My Whitsunday Boating adventure came to an end, but I'm sure I'll be back out there at some point again!
